Philip Morris moderniza su IQOS y sacará en breve a la venta, su nuevo IQOS ILUMA, que vendrá a reemplazar al IQOS actual de aquí a un año o año y medio. Éste nuevo dispositivo para calentar tabaco, introduce un cambio muy importante sobre el actual, ya que se trata de una única pieza y de no dos como el actual. Esta pieza no será la que caliente los cigarrillos, sino que aportará tan sólo los medios necesarios para hacer que sean los propios cigarrillos (que se denominarán TEREA) los que se calienten así mismo. Esto se consigue gracias a la lámina que llevarán en su interior.

Esto  que a simple vista pudiera parecer una tontería no lo es, ya que elimina totalmente el gran inconveniente que tiene el IQOS actual que es la limpieza del dispositivo, en el que se van quedando en el interior briznas de tabaco que si no se eliminan limpiándolo con asiduidad, con el tiempo provocan un mal funcionamiento del dispositivo.

En lo que respecta al cargador, a simple vista es exactamente igual que el actual , ni más grande ni más pequeño. En cuánto a los cigarrillos también podemos corroborar, que NO sirven ni los TEREA para el DUO , ni los HEETS para el ILUMA. El P.V.P. de éste nuevo IQOS ILUMA, será exactamente el mismo que los que hay hoy en día, al igual que pasará con los nuevos cigarrillos TEREA, y según están diciendo los comerciales de Philip Morris a los Estanqueros, a los usuarios actuales de IQOS, se les hará un descuento importante en la compra de éste nuevo dispositivo, al entregar el actual.
